Internship
This program offers support and guidance to high school seniors graduating and continuing their education at technical schools, college or entering the military. The program is designed primarily for summer internships that allow the student to view and experience possible career choices prior to finishing their education. The program encourages partnerships with area Chambers of Commerce existing internship programs allowing for consistency and collaboration. Internships will be available with social service agencies, local government offices, public clinics and/or health agencies.
Start date: June, 2005
When to apply?
(1) We must begin in January contacting businesses who are
interested in having interns working in their offices for
the summer.
(2) February 1 is deadline for summer internship placement
What must you do?
- Provide an updated Resume

- E-mail mjalstrom@sunflower.com no later than
February 1
- Consider the type of internship placement you
would like. We will try hard to place you in an area you
are considering as your college major but can�t promise
this will be the case.
- Participate in orientation before job placement.
- Complete an internship report upon completion of
the job placement.
- You will be on a first come basis and your
participation in the 20/20 Junior and Senior programs
will be considered.
When do I begin?
- Internships will begin the first of June through
August.
- The internship will vary per employer and the number
of days per week will be determined by you and the
business or corporation.
